  • Mangivis is an extract derived from different varieties of mango (mangifera indica L).

    The antioxidant properties of mango are recognized in equatorial regions, where the plant is native and an integral part of the diet.

    Of over 273 species of mango plants, only 17 are suitable for the production of Mangivis. Its composition was published in 2002 in the scientific journal "Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry". Mangivis is rich in polyphenols, especially mangiferin, with a concentration that can vary up to 45% depending on the season, fruit ripening and harvest.

    Clinical studies have shown that mangiferin can improve the quality of life in patients with various diseases, without interfering with traditional therapies.

    Mangivis also contains microelements such as iron, copper, zinc and selenium, which play an important role in immunomodulation.

    Studies have demonstrated the antioxidant activity of Vimang (now Mangivis) in 2000 and in 2004 a major study on mangiferin was published, highlighting its antitumor and anti-inflammatory potential.

    Mangiferin has no known side effects and has been registered as a dietary supplement in 21 countries. It is currently also available in Italy under the name Mangivis.

    Its anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity makes it an important support in many chronic degenerative pathologies, such as tumors, brain pathologies and diabetes.

    Studies on the application of mangiferin continue to increase, further exploring its potential applications.
